WebThe Authors’ Foundation, together with the K. Blundell Trust, are administered by the Society of Authors and offer grants to writers with works in progress, this year totalling in excess of £360,000. Each grant can be up to £6,000 (occasionally more). Almost always, the authors receiving these grants will have contracts from UK publishers. Web13 de dez. de 2024 · Each writer may enter one award. The awards available in 2024 are: • Hachette Children's Novel Award: For debut authors of middle-grade or early teen fiction. One winner will be offered a publishing contract with Hachette Children's Group and £5,000. Enter a writing sample between 3,000 and 6,000 words and a synopsis up to 600 words.
